A five year old gelding by the late Ferlax, E-Star is just slowly brewing away up in Hong Kong. A winner of over a million dollars, with his most recent run moving up in class coming second to the undefeated Fantastic Treasure (Written Tycoon).
E-Star was a $42,500 Karaka Book 2 Yearling to Brookby Stables, out of the Savabeel mare in Duck For Cover. He was bred by one of our most loyal and original clients, Alistair Murdoch. His matriarch mare Foxy Boss was the first mare to foal at Highden Park ten years ago.
Alistair has a few mares at his property in Whanganui, but of that small amount he's bred multiple stakes horses such as Glorious Beijing, who came second in the Group 2 Wellington Guineas.
